June 2011 - Intellectual Property Investigation – Price-Langevin helps obtain record Judgment

Altec Productions, Kingsway store Carnation Fashion Co. and, Singga Enterprises Inc., were recently ordered to pay $2.5 million in damages to luxury fashion compaines Louis Vuitton and Burberry as a result of an extensive operation involving the foreign manufacture, distribution and sale of counterfeit products.

The investigation into the companies’ trade activiteis in counterfeit products began in 2008 by the well established, Vancouver based, Intellectual Property Investigation experts, IPSA International. Price-Langevin & Associates Inc. was priveleged to assist with the Alberta connection to the investigation, and secured evidence that assisted in obtaining the Judgment.
